10. Most of the Saudi players collapsed when time ran out because Cape Verde had so many shots on goal I think the Saudis were shocked to escape with a 0-0 draw.  Cape Verde fans were a little frustrated until a couple minutes after the match ended word got out that they had advanced to the round of 32, the smallest country to ever make it that far.  Then everyone was jubilant.

Go Blue Sharks!  Next they face Argentina 😬 Friday, July 3rd at 4 mountain in Miami.
Houston day 1: 1. We’re celebrating Cedar’s 16th Houston day 1:
1.  We’re celebrating Cedar’s 16th birthday with tickets to the cheapest World Cup game I could find:  Cape Verde vs. Saudi Arabia, Friday.  Cedar earned his driver’s license after an arduous 70 minute driving test including 45 minutes waiting for a train to cross the state-approved test route, during which he was not allowed to remove his hands from the steering wheel.  Usually the test is 20-30 minutes long.
